Plato was good at wrestling

The name “Plato” means “broad-shouldered” ¹.

Diogenes Laertius claims that “Plato” was a nickname, given by his wrestling coach. He probably made that up ², but all sources seem to agree that Plato excelled at physical exercise and was well known for his wrestling ability.
